the service says at the request of chief williams scott it will extend its oversight that the san francisco police department through june. the federal review of san francisco's police department began early last year. back in october a list of recommended reforms was released. some have been implements and others still being considered by the police commission. >>> san francisco may create its own department of cannabis. san francisco expects a flad of people to get into the recreational marijuana business when it becomes legal in california next january. the supervisor wants a seven member commission and a cannabis director and staff. the paper says the commission would approve permits for commercial cannabis businesses and when to suspend those permits. she wants the commission in place before the first of july so it can be worked into san francisco's next budget. >>> san diego is using a mouth flop device to catch drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs. it's called a draco 5,000 and it used sa sly r lie va samples to determine if one is using marijuana, cocaine and other drugs.
