wral's gilbert baez is live outside the facility with new information. gilbert, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, bill and renee. things are quiet this morning. and that wasn't the case yesterday. you mentioned the disturbance by the inmates. inmates and one of the prison workers were sent to wayne memorial hospital, treated and released with non-life threatening injuries. this is the scene this morning when we pulled up. about a dozen buses were leaving the facility. we're told they were about one of a dozen convoys the incident started yesterday afternoon when the inmates started two fires, one inside the prison diagnostic building and another one that destroyed a storage shed that held supplies. both fires were put out. the inmates involved broke windows and damaged four dorms. because of the damage inside parts of the facility, the 500 inmates were transferred to another prisons. we are told there are 300 inmates here. aftermath of hurricane matthew, all the flooding caused here. they were taken to the prison and returned here sometime last we
