now, i just got off the phone with wtop, their traffic department, they were talking about winds that are creating this flying debris. and that has created some accidents. we have downed trees as well across the region. so i ask you if you do go get in your car, turn it on 103.5 because they are doing a good job talking about some of thieves acciden these accidents. i think i heard of one on 66 coming into the area something from the wind created an accident. so again be very careful driving around because we'll have the strong winds all day long. and still breezy tomorrow. but the wind advisory goes until 3:00. but i do believe outages will become more numerous as we get into the afternoon as well because these winds will just be relentless. gusts anywhere from 20s to 30s out there. again, we have the potential to make it up to about 50 miles an hour through about lunch time. and then the winds will settle down through the afternoon gusting to about 35 miles an hour this afternoon. but definitely breezy overnight and definitely breezy through monday. so as you head back to work, get

i just saw that when i was on wtop. burt again, it's chilly in ft. meade. not sure they're at 42. that sensor may not be working. but again, temperatures pretty much in the 40s at this point. so, if yo shopping again today, temperatures remaining in the 40s. that's about as good as we're going to get. plenty of sunshine. it will be a little blustery, especially compared to yesterday. yesterday we made it up to 60 degrees. now, we do not have any rain out there. we're going to have full sunshine out there today. so, if you are decorating, just know it is going to be blustery, but we're going to have plenty of sunshine. football watching, you're just fine. maybe zoo lights or the area lighting festivities we have out there, especially at night. bundle up. sun goes down just about 4:48 p.m. temperatures are going to be around 50 degrees today. and with the wind, we could feel more like the 30s and low 40s with that windchill. but the wind dying down after about 5:00, 6:00 tonight, and we have a light wind overnight and a light wind through the day tomorrow. as
