i'm dionne lim. as we join you tonight, we are starting to see this immediate storm taper off. but after this full day of wet weather and much more ahead, we are seeing the effects start to stack up. the storm has brought pockets of heavy rain at times, with some flooded streets and gusty winds out on the roads. but the good news is, any major damage has been kept at bay. we do have for you live team coverage of tonight's spread across the bay area, checking current conditions and all that is still to come this week. let's begin now with abc seven news weather anchor spencer christian. with what you are seeing right now, spencer. >> yes, beyond what we're seeing right now is widespread rainfall on live doppler seven now, not quite the widespread intensity, sustained intensity that we expected, but it's wet out there all across the region. and as we close in there, you can see some areas of yellows and oranges indicating some heavy downpours. but they are brief and they're isolated. this is a wider picture of the storm showing you the rotation that counterclockwise rotation send

i'm dionne lim. fortunately, no one was hurt by last night's gunfire, but students are questioning how the school notified them of the potential danger. abc seven news reporter ryan curry was on campus today and has more on the moments leading up to the shooting, as well as response from students. air. >> new video shows what happened on the uc berkeley campus friday night. a man gets into a fight with several people near sproul plaza shortly after the fight, he pulls out a gun and starts shooting. students quickly ran to safety. >> we happen to notice a bunch of cops drive by where we were so we came to check it out and we were standing by the student union and somebody was getting pinned to the floor and then carried to the car. i was a little bit shocked that this all happened, like in the student building. >> no one was hurt in campus. police arrested him several minutes after the shooting, but students say they didn't know there was a shooting until well after it had happened. >> so this one say
