. >> veronica johnson joins us now with the forecast. >> hey, barbara and pat. wet morning is right. maybe you got caught in it. every time the rain was ready to stop, it started up again with the sky opening up. in severe weather, but we had thunderstorms run through the area. we have a nice looking sky out there. puffy clouds against the brilliant blue. the temperature across the area, let's look at that. the temperatures have been in the 60s today. as far as cloud cover goes, we are seeing clouds roll through the area. but continued clearing here. there's a look at the storms that came through early around 10:00 a.m. and by 2:00, it was all north and east of the area. the pockets of clearing down to the south around culpeper, manassas and fredericksburg. dover and areas around georgetown and salisbury still getting rain for the afternoon. we are at 72 degrees with the wind at 12 miles per hour. so, it's breezy now and it's going to be breezy here for the overnight period. a gusty day coming our way tomorrow. we drop to 57 degrees by 11:00 p.m. midnight, under
