major construction work affecting the nimitz northbound. on high street, construction crews are working overnight and have been unable to finish the job in time for the morning commute. they plan to have three lanes open on the nimitz that even at that, that would leave on one lane taken away from traffic serious that means a major bottleneck for one of the busiest freeways in the bay area. since taking a look at the occurrence fact. it is jammed coming out of san leandro. big rigs are now authorized to use 580. now, 580 is starting to show some strain from the extra traffic that will be using in this morning's. your alternates are international boulevard, interstate 580, that will have already about 15 minutes to the northbound drive time. you could even consider using highway 92 to take you across to the bayshore freeway. the san mateo bridge over to 101 death could actually make sense for some commuters depending on your destination. again, there is no indication that they will be out of the lanes in time for the morning commute and for

as i already mentioned, the nimitz freeway is looking good of both directions >>darya: 6:19 a.m., our developing story is a fire in san francisco. yoli aceves is live at 24th and bartlett. we understand that four people were injured. can you update us on the condition of those people? >>yoli: is a lot more serious. two people are in critical condition and to people are in stable condition. we spoke to the fire chief who said that all of those people came from the top get it. initially this is where they believe the fire started. they were able to take three of those people out for the front door and the the fourth person, they have to take them out the window and down the ladder. since both buildings have a fire damaged. it was quite frightening. some people were injured by glass this, the fire seems to be concentrated on the back and and roof areas of the building. >>darya: how many people were displaced? >> roughly 24-30 people have been displaced. i did see a couple of people out here, the red cross has arrived. they are being assisted by the red cross. a couple of people have told
