and thank you for staying with wjz eyewitness news. nue to follow the breaking story in fells point. a five-alarm fire ripped through broadway, causing concerns. over combustible materials inside. wjz is live on the scene. meghan mccorkell live with the city firefighters. meghan, we don't see as much smoke at this point, finally. >> reporter: yes, mary. that is getted -- good news. we have been pushed down. you can see some of the flashing lights down the street from us. we walked down there just a few minutes ago. it does appear the firefighters have made some significant headway on this fire. we only saul a very issue -- saw a very, very small amount of smoke coming out of that building. firefighters got to this scene just after 1:30, in the old hex building in the 500 block of broadway. we're told they encountered very heavy smoke and fire on the upper floors. we're told that the roof collapsed. we know two firefighters did sustain minor injuries in that collapse. now, people living in this area told us they were in the area. they he
