workers and volunteers from the wrightway-rescue shelter in north suburban niles returned to the collapsedtoday in an effort to find foster homes for the facility's animals. a school bus plowed into the middle of the shelter yesterday afternoon. no students were aboard the bus. no animals or people were hurt. it is 10 years of hard work and dedication and it has been demolished in one day. it is very depressing but we are positive we will continue our work. we just dump all howl at the moment. volunteers will be back at the shelter tomorrow trying to solicit donations to repair the building. they will also be trying to find homes for about fourteen animals. meanwhile, a 4-th grade student at edgebrook elementary school is stepping up efforts to help the wright-way animal shelter. nine-year-old nia chetkovich has been fundraising for the shelter for the past two years. this picture was taken last summer after a fundraiser. when she heard about the accident, nia started selling handmade bracelets to help raise money for the shelter. she's already raised over 1-hundred dollars. her mom also c
