you see where the warning is right around leesburg to the south.here is the airport where the radar site is located. it is going to go right over the airport and continue into fairfax county. we are seeing rain also in montgomery county but this is a storm we are worried about here. around fairfax at 4:55. this is really developing and we are going to continue to watch it moving to the southeast at 20 to 25 miles per hour. more rain around bethesda and rockville and coming right across the beltway. this is the one storm that is in the game right now. another storm through the north has been weakening some. there may be a few more as we move on to the rest of the evening. this storm here is very strong. that is something we are watching out for, too. look back towards west virginia, a lot of rain towards the west. not all of this reaching the ground just yet. if you live towards the shenandoah valley and west virginia if you are watching us in portions of west virginia you may see more rain throughout the night. the rain is cooling off temperatures.

right now it's still only 77 in leesburg, manassas and winchester. 75 in hagerstown. and gaithersburg. but yeah we sneaked up into the 80s in both fredericksburg and here in d.c.. on satellite and radar you can see our approaching cloud cover. but the rain, especially the heavier rain is still hundreds of miles off to the south and west. it's going to be a while before that arrives and it does look like we won't get the full brunt of the rainfall during thedy time hours at least this weekend. the drier air is still in place even into the overnight hours. a few sprinkles possible along the 81 core core. tomorrow morning we start out dry and even a good amount of sunshine but that sunshine will actually lead to the instability that gets some of the clouds to bubble up really big. and then you get a few sprinkles dropping down. that could be in the early afternoon hours tomorrow. then as we head into the evening, those showers dissipate and again with the loss of daytime heating the clouds are still in place to the south and west of us on sunday. but notice how the rain
