let's start with meteorologist kate bilo. she's in the weather sent with new information. kate? >> that's right, it feel like we've been talking about this storm for so long but finally it's here. we can see it on the radar we can see it gathering strength we can see this storm is a powerful house it has lot of moisture with it that moisture conveyor belt from the gulf of mexico really bringing in the heavy rainfall over portions of georgia, portions of alabama, mississippi and some snow around the back edge in arkansas tonight and all of this is heading to the north where it will tap into very warm ocean water chem hers which will help to add moisture to the system and add energy to it as well as it moves into the northeast. we'll zoom in on it for you right now again you can see that heavy rain falling at the moment. some of that could end up being snow. really around the back edge what we're looking at as moisture gets thrown back around the back side of the storm especially through the day on saturday. so when can we expect the snow to begin? this time tomorrow oy do expect
