began march 1st. official spring begins in 16 days from now, about 31 days till average high temperature is 60 degrees, and 34 days till the phillies feel spring like at all today. high temperature, 36 in philadelphia. topping the freezing mark in the lehigh valley valley. 20 for the high temperature in mount pocono. mid 30's at the shore. we did have sunshine but didn't help to warm us up and we did have clear sky condition, clouds passing throughout the day. otherwise up and down the i95 corridor, all is quiet with high pressure and control. getting a live look right now, clear skies and frigid temperatures. 32 north wind up around 17 miles per hour. so feeling more like 21 degrees. our forecast overnight, 17 degrees. that will be our coldest in philadelphia since january 10th, and we only fallen into the teens so far this season five times. so tonight is going to feel quite brutal down to 11 degrees in the lehigh valley. three degrees in mount pocono. even dropping down into the teens along the coast and future feels like temperatures despite the fact that the winds are going to let up a bit significantly as we head to midnight.
