i'm tracking a crash over here getting down to the peninsula. we'll talk about that coming up. >> breaking news we're tracking overnight, san francisco home invasion that turned into a police shooting. in the last couple minutes is when the police called off the search for suspects. >> in the last 15 minutes or so. pete suratos was there at the scene with the officers. what do we know about this, pete? >> good morning to you. we just got that media briefing from sfpd and they tell us the search for the suspect has been called off on the ground here, which means that shelter for residents has been lifted. we've shown you the video from the scene earlier. here's the new information we're getting from sfpd. they're saying this took place around 11:00 p.m. on the 2100 block of quesada. as the sfpd taped off the area and several suspects exited the home when they arrived. one suspect shoots at police, the officer returns fire but there are no injuries to report at this time. as the suspects tried to get away, one person was detained. we're told the oc
