maureen naylor is live in los gatos with the charges that drone operator could face. maureen. >> reporter: well, we are here at the headquarters for santa clara county fire. the chief investigator told me this is the first time they have ever confiscated a drone, that they confiscated it in the middle of the firefight. tin meantime, drones have become a big issue. the fire is 50% issue but right now three investigations are underway. in the saratoga foothills horse riding lessons continued as normal here less than 24 hours after the eden fire broke out one ridge over. >> up here it is pretty quiet for the most part other than the camps and trying to get the kids in and out. >> reporter: santa clara county fire along with cal fire launched an air attack when flames broke out in the steep, hilly terrain. tuesday fire crews posted high up on this charred hillside mopping up the fire that burned 10 acres up to the mown eden vineyard. investigators say the lush vines helped stop flames along with cooler weather overnight. >> it's looking very good. we had no structures inv

here's change, temperatures close to 90 in downtown san jose and a chance of mid-90s around los gatos, into morgan hill. mid to upper 90s around livermore. and peninsula temperatures still pretty comfortable. mid to upper 70s around san mateo and san francisco, low 60s around ocean beach and low 70s tomorrow and monday and tuesday. in the north bay, numbers in the80s to low 90s. heat advisories will become more likely as we cross the middle part of the week. the coast however is going to be immune from all this heat. not much of a change there. and thursday a chance we could see thunder, chances increasing coming up out of southern california. so high pressure reaching peak intensity for the middle part of the week and shifting to the pacific north west, and that could open the door for moisture coming out of southern california as we take a closer look at upper level winds late thursday. this would the not be a good combination, given how hot it's going to be. that will set the stage for showers. we'll be watching that closely fort second half of next week. san francisco plan on grad
