he's live at the novacare facility and ducis how did they look this morning? >> reporter: so far so good but we won't real know until that first game of the season which is just a little less than seven weeks away, the first preseason game is 17 days away so the eagles have a a lot of work to do in a short amount of time. they are set to drastically improve an last year's record. first practice got under way at 8:50 this morning but the quarterbacks carson wentz and nick foles out there a good 20 minutes before the start of practice. nothing wrong with getting in some extra work. call this a soft opening of sorts of this training camp. until thursday it's just quarterbacks rookies and selected veterans. this gives the younger players a chance to work more and they also get more attention from the coaching staff. >> this is a great opportunity for them to, you know, get in here and to learn some more one-on-one with their coaches for the coaches to teach and get these guys ready when the vets come. >> it felt good but the vets not here yet so i think when the v
