. >> welcome to the halftime report i'm melissa lee. we start off with a chip wreck the sector down 3% in one week with more declines today nvidia leading the drop. here to debate, jim, jon -- one of forbe's top advisers and jj what are we to devid from this is anybody buying nvidia today >> no. >> why not >> well, and we talked about this yesterday, melissa, but we said look, crypto mine, it's not a huge percentage of their business, but it's got to go to almost zero. that's what they said last night. no contribution at all virtually no contribution to earnings however, the things that if you wanted to bowl up, you could say gaming was up like 50 some odd perce percent. both were strong year over year. that's good for nvidia i think it needs a rest and this 4% sell off is enough of a rest. so i would be a buyer, but you know, another 5 or 6% lower, i get interested not interested right here. >> i agree 100% with what john said i think there's a silver lining to h this. and thest the old expression can stick to your knitting so to speak
