neither did penguin. they let me feel safe in the process of book development which i might not had felt at the large press. i was one of thousands of authors. if you are a writer and want to get your book out there in the world. make as good as you possibly can enjoy that process. and when you let it out in the world let it go. it will find the people it's supposed to find. and not every wonderful brilliant book makes a list to establish that this is a good book. and that's unfortunate. i read your book and it changed my life. i'm so grateful to you. that and the art of it. that is beautifully articulated. i would echo all of that. the idea that all been that you can and should light your own work. i'm not anti- traditional publishing. a lot of people come to me. all they want is traditionally published. set some sort of living out there. they could've created three books. and so i think for those of you that are really set untraditional. a huge world beyond traditional publishing. whether that is digita
