another reason is that not all news is trump news. it's very important what presidential reporting and national political reporting, but that does because it's the most prestigious job in journalism and sets the tone for what happens elsewhere in the news. but still that doesn't need reporters covering local, state politics or reporters covering beats that have nothing to do with politics are going to follow that same kind of logic in the approach. another thing to think about is what happens when trump is out of office. perhaps journalists will be even more eager to revert back to the old style of reporting whether it's republican or democratic president and some of you use more to the norms of american politics and american discourse the way it was before donald trump entered the scene. in closing i would just say that objectivity has been challenged pretty strongly before and it is been challenged now, but but ik that it will in all likelihood survive, at least at some news outlets. so thank you.
