if you plan on taking the bay bridge were making the commute out of the east bay into the city, use ante. there richmond san rafael bridge or the san mateo bridge. theris of the waovghooting so police activity there. the closures are right at fremont so it's just as you come off the bay bridge but you can't access the skyway. if you are headed towards san francisco they are funneling traffic down to one lane onto the fremont exit, causing the backup. in addition, we are looking for an accident as well in the backup near anchorage. cars tangled up and the number three lane is blacked. an hour or so is what is what it take a to clear out. it's been a while since we at t bay bridge. stay with the alternates. we are not seeing a backup at the toll plaza but extending to where the incline is through there. if you want to take san mateo bridge, you can see traffic is moving nicely. the 101 alemany project is still underway and closures in effect. >>> we have a cooler day today. if it was too warm yesterday it will cool down today. temperatures will be 5 to 10 degrees cooler compared to the w

let's check in with "today in the bay's" bob redell live in the east bay where the restrictions are actually going into place. everyone's also waiting for that big announcement from the governor today, bob. >> reporter: good morning to you, laura. at noon today governor gavin newsom is expected to release details about how he plans to reopen our state's economy. in his words he'll start laying out some prescriptive guidelines and update us on the next phases. the governor has made it clear that when it does happen it will be a slow reopening, probably not like the state of georgia which is allowing all nail salon, barber shops, tattoo parlors to reopen, dine-in restaurants monday. the governor says california needs a lot more testing for a full reopening. right now the state is averaging only about 14,500 tests a day. we spoke with the santa clara county public health department. they've noticed that a number of people in the bay area are already starting to resume their normal routine in spite of the order not to. >> we can see the 101 and there are way too many cars on there. and unless a
