alameda county is still holding firm in phase one today oakland mayor libby schaaf said that health officials could make an announcement on moving into phase 2 as early as next week in the meantime tale on its plan to encourage physical distancing starting today. no food trucks or sales of any other kind will be allowed in or near the city. parks and parking next to lake merritt will not be allowed on weekends as well as on the memorial day holiday. these changes are effective through the end of the month city park and passengers will be on hand to remind residents about the changes. and the city of san francisco is days away from heading into phase 2 of the reopening process allowing many retail businesses to open for curbside pickup in the last 24 hours. the city has released new guidelines for this reopening and while some view this as a positive step. others say it's just t that much help. kron four's dan kerman is live for us now in san francisco with more on this part of the story good evening. dan. >>good evening. you know you see plenty of these retail corridors just empty that's expe

mayor libby schaaf will be at the site to help open it up tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. >>> in what's being called the first relief fund of its kind, california will begin offering support to undocumented immigrants tomorrow. the fund will provide $125 million to those affected by coronavirus through a partnership between the state and nonprofit groups. the one-time payments are $500 per adult with a maximum of $1,000 per household. therefore, undocumented immigrants who haven't received federal relief funding. people can begin to apply tomorrow through june 30th, and information on how to apply is on the state's department of social services website that is cdss.ca.gov. >>> states are struggling with how to reopen and get their economies going again while keeping people safe. many cities have made moves this weekend to loosen restrictions. here is abc reporter zachary keith with details. >> after nearly two months of stay at home orders, beautiful spring weather has thousands heading to america's parks and beaches. as of monday, 49 states will have begun to reopen, connecticut the only exc
