reporting live from washington, d.c., alison burns, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> 7:16.the economy watch, news of osama bin laden's death is impacting stocks. pam cook is in the newsroom with more reaction from the markets. >> it's very interesting to see the reaction in the financial markets. with my financial background i looked right away when the announcement was made that osama bin laden was killed and the futures all independent kateed a pretty good rally across the board, but they did come back quite a bit overnight. want too take a look at the big board -- want to take a look at the big board. here is a list of how the markets are doing right now, the dow jones, nasdaq and s&p 500 all posting pretty good gain. we've been keeping an eye on europe. the european market steadily increasing. up about .14 for most of the major indexes. overnight, european markets rallied quite a bit. japan 'nikkei closed at 1.25%. p what -- now, what this does, it takes some of the uncertainty out of the market because many world leaders are saying the threat of terrorism has gone down
