ama: i'm ama daetz. we are live with more on the investigation. reporter: good evening. police have identified daniel luna is the oakland man who was at the ucla hospital where he is in a medically induced coma, and police say those injuries came as a result from being assaulted . according to inglewood police, los angeles fire department got a call after 4:00 p.m. of luna being down in a parking lot. that is after the 49ers and rams game had kicked off. fire department rushed him to the hospital. several hours later, doctors contacted police. investigators say luna suffered numerous injuries to his upper body. luna owns the peruvian roast run in oakland -- restaurant in oakland. we went by the restaurant tonight, and it was closed. police did not have any suspects or people of interest now, but they are reviewing surveillance footage outside the stadium. this is reminiscent of the attack on brian stowe, who was assaulted by dodgers fans in 2011 outside dodger stadium. stowe suffered significant injuries as a result. police did not say if this current attack on luna's be

ama: thank you.ew report says the oakland police department is moving closer to ending a nearly 19-year run on federal oversight. the department reached compliance in two of the most radical requirements, responding to personal -- critical requirements, responding to personnel complaints and investigating in a timely manner. there are just three of 51 tasks to complete. there was a class-action lawsuit that accused four officers of violating civil rights by beating residents and planting evidence. dan: san francisco police and the district attorney's office are getting 60 more days to work out an agreement on use of force investigations. the current agreement was set to expire today. moving forward, the das office and police department will use an independent mediator to monitor both parties' conduct until a new agreement is worked out. earlier this month, chief scott said he was pulling out of the curtain agreement -- current agreement, saying the das office was not giving them certain details in th

ama: i'm ama daetz. we are live with more on the investigation. reporter: good evening. police have identified daniel luna is the oakland man who was at the ucla hospital where he is in a medically induced coma, and police say those injuries came as a result from being assaulted . according to inglewood police, los angeles fire department got a call after 4:00 p.m. of luna being down in a parking lot. that is after the 49ers and rams game had kicked off. fire department rushed him to the hospital. several hours later, doctors contacted police. investigators say luna suffered numerous injuries to his upper body. luna owns the peruvian roast run in oakland -- restaurant in oakland. we went by the restaurant tonight, and it was closed. police did not have any suspects or people of interest now, but they are reviewing surveillance footage outside the stadium. this is reminiscent of the attack on brian stowe, who was assaulted by dodgers fans in 2011 outside dodger stadium. stowe suffered significant injuries as a result. police did not say if this current attack on luna's be

ama: meteorologist sandhya patel is here. sandhya: we have seen power outages on the peninsula tonight and that is still a policy ability -- still strong gusting winds and power outages still possible and different -- difficult driving conditions, especially for tomorrow morning, so be ready for that. high pressure is building in behind this area of low pressure that passed through and the winds are funneling out of the north right through our region. the high wind warning for the north bay mountains until 9:00 a.m. thursday. those gusts could take down the trees and power lines so that is concerning. most other parts of the bay area are under the wind advisory until 6:00 tomorrow night. for the santa cruz coast, until 9:00 p.m. tomorrow night. it is the gusty winds once again that will make it difficult for driving, especially over the bridges, so keep that in mind as you make your plans for tomorrow. 4:00 tomorrow morning, those winds are round 30 miles per hour and still gusty going into 7:00 a.m. the strongest winds are e
