we'll shift over along the american canyon where we see the light rain here. hercules, you have rain here. take a look at the pink. this is cob mountain. it's 4400 feet in elevation. that's the rain, snow mix going on right there. that's exciting. let's shift over to the sierra where we see scattered showers and the rain, snow mix right about pollock pine and that sits at 4,000 feet. a cold storm and we do have a winter storm warning that will remain in place until tomorrow morning for the west slopes. if you do have traveling to do, up over the sierra, be prepared for that winter driving. we're looking at 4 to 8 inches all the way down to 4,000 feet. 12 to 16 inches over the higher peaks. a flash flood watch over the burn area going on until 9:00. so we'll track that for you. and there's more to come. you can see right here on the backside, we've got more showers on their way in as well as the possibility of thunderstorms. we'll talk about how much rain has fallen so far. we'll talk more about this cool part earn -- the cool patterns and how long the rain is
