an officer involved shooting at aquatic park in san francisco leaves one person in critical condition. kron 4's sara stinson has details on what happened. police had a crime scene up here in front of municipal pier at aquatic park for over 10 hours and that investigation continues at this time.the shooting was first reported at 9:31 tuesday night...when san francisco police arrived they found the shooting to be between a u-s park police officer and another person near aquatic park.we know one person was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries and another was detained and later arrested.police have not clarified if the person involved was also armed or identified who was taken to the hospital.no names have been released either.but just before the crime scene was cleared - two cars were towed including a green toyota sedan and the u-s park patrol car. police are still investigating this officer involved shooting. head to kron four dot com as we learn more.in san francisco, sara stinson, kron four news.### (anchor1) taking a live look outside-- our sutro camera our sutro cam

the shooting happened around nine- thirty p-m near san francisco's aquatic park between van ness avenue and hyde street.. officers located a second suspect and arrested the person on suspicion of possessing a firearm and possessing a firearm with a large capacity magazine. police have not said what led up to the shooting. the u.s. park police officer was not injured. (grant) a k-f-c restaurant in antioch is considered a total loss after a fire there this morning. fire crews arrived at the scene on mahogany way to find flames coming through the roof. officials say the blaze may have been fueled by grease either on the roof in grease traps... or in the vents of building. fire investigators won't be able to access the inside of the building until a building inspector or city officials clear it for entry because they're afraid it could collapse. the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. park police officer at the aquatic park. ktvu sarah is live at the scene where she spoke with people in the area. >> reporter: there are a lot of people around and some people are writing and summer fishing. it is a popular area around the municipal pier. we spoke to a woman that said that she was here last night and she explains the commotion that she heard. >> i saw the cop cars coming and i was in my car. they went by so i was wondering what was going on. >> reporter: the san francisco police department said that the call came in for shots fired at around 930 and according to the department, a u.s. park police officer was involved in two other people, one seriously injured and taken to the hospital. another person was detained by police. we do not know what led up to the shooting but we know that they are investigating to get answers. the scene cleared around 5:30 am after they removed the cars. it was a u.s. patrol vehicle. we are looking to get more information. the sfpd is investigating along with the district attorney

on september 20, cliff rescue and bay rescue at aquatic park. crews located the victims and setup a rope rescue and water rescue. i'll show you a picture later in the appreciation of that rescue. also on september 23, s.f.o. had an incident where 70 miles offshore, u.s. coast guard helicopter brought some adults that were on a disabled boat, and they transported them to a hospital. that's also going to be on the presentation. on september 25, we assisted at the transbay overpass, i'm sure you've read about it, the cracked beams. we assisted multiple state agencies in creating a safety plan until they had it cordoned off and a safe perimeter to be out of the way. that's ongoing. some functions on september 8, we sent two of our k9s to hawaii for hurricane olivia. for hurricane michael, we have not gotten any requests as of yet, but that's obviously a devastating storm headed for florida. company drills this month, last month, some for forceable entry. on september 9, also the stair climbing event at 555 california street. special recognition to c
