avenue.ell, you know that there's a lot of construction going on. last night they had lanes shut down when this happened. that tractor-trailer you see all the way at the end of the road, that's what's at the center of all of this. let me give you a closer look of what's going on down there. you see a vehicle is basically lodged under the back of the tractor there. that is what happened here last night. that tractor-trailer stalled on new york avenue. the driver was trying to fix it. it had been there for about 45 minutes to an hour, according to witnesses, when this vehicle slammed into the back of the truck. the driver was critically injured and transported from the scene. the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured at all. the snefinvestigation is still underway. they're trying to figure out why the driver did that. meantime, it's going to affect your morning rush since, again, new york avenue is now closed down in both directions at florida avenue and 4th street. with more on how you

now, several of those juveniles have just been arrested down along chester field avenue, mayfield avenue. and one just right here at bel air road and erdmann avenue. we've seen as many as 50 juveniles running out into the middle of the street, stopping cars. police, there's at least 15 or 20 police vehicles right here along bel air road and erdmann avenue, trying to maintain order. it's not clear exactly what these juveniles are doing. but police are arresting them as they can catch them. there's been several foot pursuits. we know of no injuries at this time. several arrests we believe at this time are for fighting or disorderly conduct. but there's at least 30 or 40 juveniles standing at the bus stops or corners here, and dashing out into traffic for no apparent reason. police are still trying to gain control of of the situation. we'll continue to keep you monitored. >> thank you, captain mike perry, reporting live. >>> this saturday, baltimore's own archbishop edwin o'brien will be elevated to cardinal. and all this week, direct from rome, the catholic review is sharing its coverage w
