starting to make its way into the far north bay and the rest of the bay area later on. out of here. we'll have some mild temperatures, but i'm also watching out for king tide along the coastline and then as we go into next week more rain chances coming in. we'll need it because this system coming in is fairly light. and as we track it hour by hour we're going to start to see at 1:00 some spotty rain mostly in the north bay and then as it continues to move into the south bay it doesn't arrive until about 4:00 or 5:00 in parts of the east bay as well as moving down the peninsula. hopefully we can at least squeeze a few rain drops out of this system before it moves out. but we're not expecting a whole lot as that system continues to move through. so i wanted to show you what one of the models is showing for us in terms of rain, the possibility of getting about a tenth to a quarter inch of rain higher for the north bay as we normally do see. and then for the sierra snowfall totals also fairly light for the weekend. 3 to 5 inches but as high as 10 inches for the end of the w

in fact, all around the bay area. upper 30s in the north bay.oing to be standing in those long lines have on a nice, warm coat. it's going to gradually warm up but you'll notice our high temperatures for today will be slightly cooler compared to yesterday. we're bringing it back to where we should be for early in november reaching up to 75 in san jose. 77 in martinez and in napa. san francisco will reach 65 degrees. we had that fog earlier this morning. it's clearing out. high pressure is moving away and it's allowing for the storm systems to approach coming in from the northwest. as we go into the weekend there will be one dipping far enough into northern california that could bring in some major changes for our weather. in fact, as we look at the winds coming in it's going to bring in some cooling and possibly some rain for parts of the bay area. mostly some spotty, light rain. we are looking for the possibility of stomaome sierra . look at the change in temperatures from the upper 70s throughout thursday into the upper 50s for the weekend. mi

continuing to the north bay. head out for a hike. enjoy the nice, cool breeze in the south bay. at a cool morning but then at about 2:00 partly cloudy and 62 degrees. so nod bad. we'll see some of those temperatures mostly in the supper 50s and low 60s today. we're going to bring it up a degree or two above yesterday's high. and then for tomorrow still nice and dry but then on thursday we'll be watching our next storm system that will be moving in late on thursday with some spotty north bay rain. most of us will be waking up to at least a light shower on friday morning as we head to work. temperatures are also going to stay cool. we'll watch that for our upper elevations that may get light snow. we are mostly looking at rain with our saturday rainfall coverage mostly during the morning and clearing out for the afternoon. it does look dry by then. rainfall totals at this point looks like it will be closer to an inch further to the north but most of us a quarter to half an inch of rain. models are backing off on how much we're going to see. we are going to potentially have at leas

, take a look at the east bay.there is your blanket. even if we go down into the south bay, san jose, you got yours as well. as a result, look at the numbers. right now, 48 in san jose. you have gone down well into the 30s yesterday morning. that is noticeably warmer thanks to the clouds. 50 in san francisco right now. 53 in concord. look at santa rosa, 37. there might be a little bit the patchy fog there. without the deck of clouds, your noticeably colder. the northbay is always colder in the morning. for today, mid-60s in general. we are about 11 degrees warmer right now than we were yesterday at this time. you can see the clouds if we look at it on the satellite. plenty of them in the east bay and the south bay but if we play futurecast forward, they will all just disappear by the time we got to 9:00. by 10:00, it is blue sky and that is the way it will go for today. there actually is a little bit of rain just now beginning to develop off the coast. watch what happens. that just falls apart. sunny for the rest o

john good morning guys, yeah brightening up out there across the bay area are half moon bay cam also showing some bright skies right there along the coastline little narrow band of low clouds hanging out right above san francisco obviously not getting much of that anywhere else across the bay. now with these clear skies across the region. we have seen some pretty chilly temperatures so far this morning evening lows again dropping into the 30's for some of our inland areas double in livermore concord among those spots that are sitting in the 30's right now for the inland east bay, oakland alameda, san francisco among the more mild spots in the 40's. well, half moon bay look at that right at the coast at 39 degrees. petaluma you're at 30 right now in fairfield are loan spot hanging out in the upper 20's at 29 so it's back to the frigid start that we had monday and tuesday but skipped yesterday when it was so mild. now tomorrow morning we will have an increasing cloud cover shouldn't be as cold of a morning for your friday. what we do see on into friday morning showers along the north c
