boston. good evening. i'm rhondella richardson. todd: i'm todd kazakiewich. police say the private bus hit two people on route 1-a early this morning. newscenter 5's nicole estaphan is live in boston with the investigation. todd, it was around 2:00 the morning -- 2:00 this morning the two women were hit. one distraught woman was carried away by police. two women hit around 2:00 on this very busy mcclellan highway. the company operating the bus entourage livery out of north , attleboro. again what those women were doing at the time they were hit remains unclear. a spokesperson for the bus company spoke with us briefly this afternoon. >> the main thing we want to offer is our condolences to the victims family, that is the most important thing. we're doing everything to assist in the investigation when the boston police department. last night, our driver went with the boston police department and was questioned and released immediately.

addison hoover wrote "love boston police and marty walsh, but low helicopter fly bys at 10 p.m. with no public viewing is not a hot idea." also tweeted "is there a tonight." the helicopters have been flying throughout boston. they alerted residents of a planned traininger about size in conjunction with the defense department. they stress it is not in response to any world events. when i had asked boston police for more information. they said the specifics are kept mysterious for good reason. fox25 also found these blackhawk helicopters lined up on the tarmac at a local airfield. when asked about the helicopters, fox25 was directed to the department of defens but at night, it is more like this. fast flying above neighborhoods and the city that will likely continue for the next couple of days. that exercise will go on until friday. i am told that officials will share more information once it is over, but until then, you can expect to see more of them flying across various parts of boston. i am blair miller, fox25 news. >>> the world's longest aircraft ended its second test flight w

randy: boston police will hold a public hearing on body cameras for police officers. the department is working to start a pilot program now. 100 officers will be wearing the cameras for six months. it's a deal that was reached with the police union earlier this month. and there will be a public hearing thursday night on this. it will be at the mildred community center. emily: the state medical examiner in new hampshire is reporting a rise in the number of bodies left unclaimed in the morgue. according to the union leader, records show there are five bodies unclaimed during any given week. officials are seeing the same trend at funeral homes and hospitals. overdose epidemic. lobster men in southern new england could face new restrictions to stop the drop in the lobster population. this week the atlantic state marine fishery commission will talk about ways to help preserve the species. one of the new rules could be a change in the minimize size of lobsters caught. that means more would have to be thrown back. lobster fishing across new england brought in more than half

a six-month pilot program involving boston police department here. and it has been talked about for so long because it has taken a while to get it off the ground, and finally they are looking at launching it within the next couple of weeks. the two-day training program starts today and we are learning as you mentioned who exactly is getting these cameras. initially the idea is to have volunteers. 100 volunteering boston police officers taking part in this body camera pilot program. but not a single officer did step forward to volunteer, so participate. the "herald" and "globe" report that the officers are districts in roxbury, mattapan and north dorchester. back by fenway in the south end. allston and brighton and hyde park. 87 of the officers are men. are women. and the racial breakdown are described as follows. 55 white officers. 29 black. 13 hispanic and three asian-americans. now, of course, we have reached out to the boston police department at this and to get the official response from the department about how they envision this coming forward
