a person is reportedly missing after a boat party on the canton waterfront last night. but other partygoers aren't certain if the person fell in the water or left to go somewhere else. the person's name has not been released, and no body has been found. >>> now the latest on a bizarre in anne arundel county where police are still trying to figure out why the body of an elderly woman was placed in a freezer for weeks. it happened at the country club apartments located in the 7400 block of furnace branch road in glen burnie. police tell abc 2 news that 83- year-old doris lee cooke died several weeks ago, and her body was placed in a freezer by relatives living with her. detectives also say that cooke suffered from various medical conditions, and had been bed ridden for years. neighbors tell us the elderly woman lived with her two daughters, one who was mentally challenged and the other who was her caretaker. >> pretty creepy. it's pretty scary, actually. it's kind of something you don't expect to have living below you, something going on that you had no idea was going on.

man they had been looking for since yesterday. 30-year-old desi deschaine was at a boat party in canton sunday night and apparently fell into the water at the baltimore marine center. police say deschaine had been drinking, land is no sign of foul play. deschaine was an aide to a washington, d.c. councilman. d.c. councilmembers honored him by pausing for a moment of silence this morning. >>> arson investigators say a hamp stedman was targeting a former girlfriend when he allegedly set fire to a two- story apartment building in westminster. the fire forced people from their homes in the wee hours of the morning on sunday at the apartments at the greens on robins way. according to the state fire marshals office, 46-year-old wayne harry doherty used a ladder to break into his ex- girlfriend's second floor apartment. he confessed to using a lighter to set a blouse on fire once he entered the unit. one of the fire victims chased down the suspect as he fled from the burning building on foot. >> i think he was scared, because i told him what i was grog to do to him if he moved. and he wouldn't
