a flash flood warning in effect for caroline county. we want to go over to first warning doppler radar and show you on that just a couple of showers are left on there. a floor flood warning in the grey right here. the spotty showers that's about it. most of it is leaving us. just seeing a little bit of drizzle coming down. a lot of fog out. there most of the rain moving off to the north right now. so overall this is what we have going on. a flash flood watch if we can go back to that graphic right now. also along the coast some coastal flood advisories in in effect and because of bill passing offshore we also have that rip tide risk very high which is why they closed a lot of the beaches today. that trend will continue into tomorrow. not sure what the prognosis is with the beaches but that high risk with the rip currents tomorrow. and along all of these areas here. if you live in one of these counties and you usually get that higher than normal high tide that's going to happen again tonight with everything that's going on. so that's why

caroline is live along the procession route and joins us now.little bit about what the scene is there now and what you expect? >> you bet. this is part of the route coming down constitution avenue. we expected an hour and a half that will come down here. route will take senator kennedy through the town he loved so much. you mentioned his first stop at the senate steps, that will be a chance that for some of the staffers that didn't get to go up to the funeral they will be able to pay their last respects. then the regular joes will be around where i'm standing and then go to the final place at arlington national cemetery. >> we're looking at some of the sights and a lot of the family members, the children and grandchildren talked about the history trip the memorial how that he would. she said on the last history trip with senator kennedy today. it's an emotional journey that you are pointing out? >> it absolutely is. complete strangers we've been talking along the route, what time will he be here. i want to be here one woman said because this is

shannon, back to you. >> shannon: thanks, caroline. now, that hurricane bill is all but off the weather map, at least here in the u.s., blue skies are in store for the northeast. let's find out. meteorologist rick reichmuth is at the fox weather center with that and the rest of today's forecast. how does it look, rick? >> hey, shannon, i got to tell you a lot of the country is going to have one of the best days that you have seen in a long time. temps in the 70s and 60s across the central plains and around the great lakes. low humidity which is going to be such a nice break. it has been so sticky across the eastern seaboard. a look at the dew points that shows how much moisture is in the air. when you get the dark greens of 70 plus it is awful out there and that is what we have seen. by tomorrow we start to see the lighter greens move in and that is going to bring some very nice conditions. so monday, tuesday, wednesday, all across much of the eastern coast is going to be very nice. here is bill pulling off. but we have one little bit
