we were able to get a hold of chp. quick look at the overall bay area, we've got slowing along northbound 101 in the south bay in san jose, but again, we were able to get the latest and unfortunately chp is saying that they don't have an estimated time on when the lanes are expected to reopen. so you can imagine that this backup has only gotten worse since we first reported it about 30 minutes ago. southbound 880 at wynti winton multivehicle accident, the backup continues past the 238 interchange. get off before you reach hesperian boulevard. take surface streets in through the area and as far as your bridge drive times the metering lights are on, westbound 80 toward the bay bridge 1 minutes and keeping a close eye on all of the bay area. northbound 101 from highway 85 looking at about 22 minutes. so aside from that area in hayward, the rest of the bay area seems to be doing okay. back to you. >> let's hope it stays that way. thank you. >>> ready for a morning commute? next and new, the growing number of people in majo
