chp told us that it must enforce the tno trespassing laws so chp ordered those here to move out by thisning. it is on an empty parking lot on rough drive near heeding located near the old traffic court. two saturdays ago the nonprofit group called san jose cath rick worker established hope village at a cost of around $10,000. the area is fenced off. there are showers, solar. there are ground rules to keep the site secure. one man told us it is the difference between night and day living in the creek versus here. the cath rick worker organization thinks hope village could be a model for other encampments. they'll consider possible solutions including moving hope village to a property owned by san jose. moving it to city owned land behind the police department parking lot or convincing the state to lace the property at the villages right now. that time is running out. if chp goes through with the plan to order people to vacate the land at 8:00 this morning. reporting live in san jose, bob riddell for "today in the bay." >> thank you. >> it is 6:33 now. florence may be weakening somewhat.
