. >> i'm chris mckinnon. one of the big stories that we're following today, of course, is hurricane joaquin. we'll take a live look at port nassau and the bahamas. memories of hurricane sandy is still fresh in their minds, and that is the big story today. will it or will it not? >> danielle was just saying you have new information this morning that just came in. >> so each day, you guys, the track has been shifting farther to the east. that trend continues. so in this case, look at what happens. i zoomed out the view. joaquin is starting to take the turn to the northwest. notice the track now. it curves to the northeast. it does make a little jog northwestward just a touch then curves out to sea. nonetheless, the cone of uncertainty, we would certainly feel effects from joaquin, although it would not appear to be a direct hit either way. no matter how you cut it, we'll be feeling the effects of surf and wind currents picking up. periods of rain separate from joaquin. we have pockets of rain out there this mor
