our check of the forecast with christina loren. >> let's check the travel. a lot of people will be headed back to the bay area. we're looking really now. no delays out of any of your major airports, all across the initial this morning. as we get into this afternoon here in the bay area, our next weather making arrives and it's packing quite a punch. temperatures mostly in the 40s and 50s. it's a really pretty start to the day. we do have some fog out there this morning. we'll end up 65 in the south bay, 63 in the peninsula, 59 on the east shore. temperatures are going to be cool enough for a coat all day long. but we hold off on that rain until we get into this evening. i stop that clock for you right at 5:00 p.m. continuing to see that front push through tomorrow morning. this is whether we're expecting the heavy rainfall to really spread into the area. sunday will be a pretty good travel day, especially as you're trying to get back to southern california. by sunday the heavy stuff starts to come in and this is going to stick with us well until tuesday next

christina, when is it coming in? >> coming in tonight into tomorrow morning, which is great news because a lot of the kidos have one more day at school before we head into next week and a lot of the kids have next week off for thanksgiving. really quickly as of tonight it's back in the forecast. let's talk about the fog settling in right now. this is the story of the morning, not going to be a story all day long. by about 9:00 a.m., a lot of this will burn off. it's not the usual fog that we get here in the bay area that settles up and downtown coast, it's your thick valley fog, high pressure moving in is going to keep us dry. it compresses the moisture we saw yesterday. in places like san jose we'll be about 64 degrees. so still on the cool side but not bad, not too cold just yet. 62 in san francisco and 63 in the north day for today with that rain moving in as we get into tonight. before this system comes through, though, it's going to kick up some very gusty wind, especially through the mountain passes, trying to
