i'm chuck todd. right now on the house floor lawmakers began their initial debate to censure representative paul gosar. republican leadership has not condemned gosar at all which depicted him in some sort of fantasy killing of democratic congresswoman. gosar took the video down and said it was not intended to be violence. i guess you can call him that version of apologizing. speaking to reporters later this hour and while he is not condemned gosar's behavior publicly he urged members of his caucus to stop attacking the 13 republicans. some received death threats for simply supporting what used to be a noncontroversial subject. stark and bleak of when there is apparently more anger with a republican who voted for roads and bridges and a republican who depicted the death of a democrat. this entire gosar video episode has inflamed already elevated concerns about basically allow violence to be main stream against members of congress. toxic political rhetoric on the right including the president's ongoing
