ktvu claudine wong is at the bay bridge toll plaza to talk about a wind advisory. sal is keeping on eye on the roads. first want to start with meteorologist steve paulson that is tracking the storm. >> finally a system moving through. the good news is we are getting much needed rain. the bad news is this system is flying. mike in the city said the wind has turned from southerly to northwest which means it has moved through but there was local street flooding. there is the line that stretched right back over to oakland. that's on the moderate to heavy side. look at the north bay starting to clear out already. put this into motion quickly. the system is moving west to east as it moves through bursts of heavier rain. you can see a line forming there. south bay not as much. they are getting some rain. also the city and in the east bay. but again this system is moving through rapidly. so another hour or so i think we will see all of this turn to showers in nature. let's head to claudine wong. there are no official wind advisories by the national weather service. i know

ktvu claudine wong is there now and says rescue crews rushed there as well. >> reporter: you have police, you have fire, and coast guard all out here. take a look at this boat. there is the 40-foot motor craft boat that crashed into the shoreline a few hours ago. there are coast guard and police officers on the other side of the boat taking a close look. the water is low enough for them to walk around it. there was one woman on board when the boat crashed. she is okay. she was clearly intoxicated and not being coopive -- cooperative. she could be heard saying give me a ticket because i will go to court and talk about what happened because i'm not the one that did anything wrong. police disagree saying her story has changed several times. she does not have id on her. she won't give her her name. they are trying to id her using fingerprints. listen to her as she was protesting. >> you guys should not be arresting me. >> reporter: now what she did tell them there was someone else on board the boat with her. that's why the search was launched this morning. coast guard, alameda fire and polic

ktvu channel 2 reporter claudine wong joins us from oakland with what she has learned. >> reporter: i've been talking to oakland police this morning and a lot of detectives still here at the oakland police department working this morning. trying to get to the bottom of all of these cases. about 24 hours it started after 3:00 yesterday morning with a person suffering minor injuries after a shooting on 25th avenue and east tenth. the victim was extremely lucky but that was just the beginning. just before 10:00 there was another shooting. this one on 89th and d-street. in that case it was a drive by shooting and an adult man was killed after a car with three males and one female drove by and opened fire. we are also told another victim was heard we are not sure of his condition. around 6:15 last night more shots. this time on the 1200 block of 72nd avenue. an adult man was shot by two adults driving by. he survived that shooting. police told ktvu he was shot in the stomach. and then another killing just before 8:45 last night. this one on the 800 block of 26th street. the victim shot multip

that is where we find ktvu channel 2 claudine wong with bad news. >> reporter: it is a problem out heree alerted all the proper authorities within the last half hour the oakland fire department was able to put a boom around this boat. it goes all the way around. trying to contain fuel that is leaking from this boat. that boat crashed into the shoreline here at the marina. there are several different operations ongoing right now. this one obviously is supposed to contain the fuel. later they will focus on salvaging that boat. then there is this investigation into how the boat got here. police are trying to figure out the identity of the woman they rescued. take a look at this woman. when rescue crews got to the scene she was still on board. someone from a nearby marina helped her get to the boat both. police said she was intoxicated and uncooperative. ktvu channel 2 news. >>> a renewed fight against prostitution gets under way. claudine wong is outside one of the two troubled hotels where city attorneys office is going after. you talked to one man that knows about prostitution firsthand. >> that is right. he was very candid with us about the issue of prostitution. we stopped him near the national lodge. we have seen activity in and around -- he knows there are prostitutes because there are prostitutes he has used in the past. the national lodge is well known for prostitution in the area and that it is still being used for that purpose. that is despite signs up at the hotel saying prostitution will not be allowed. there are signs in the check in window. there is a parking spot for oakland police. the person on duty not want to talk to us this morning. >> that's everywhere. >> reporter: you don't think they should shut down the hotels? >> no, that is their livelihood. >> reporter: you don't think it's bad for the women or girls or community? >> i guess, it is in a way. but you know, i don't think they can stop everybody. ba

ktvu channel 2 morning news. >>> we also had developing news, oakland police are scrambling after a series of shootings. claudine wong is in oakland with the violence overnight. claudine wong? >> reporter: behind me at that car, police are now focused -- i just spoke to the sergeant on scene and he is still trying to put things together and all they are saying is that a call came in and there had been a shooting in the area and they found a shooting victim suffering from at least one gunshot. they took him to the hospital and at this point they are not even sure who called 911, as you said this is the latest in two shootings we know about on the streets of oakland overnight. >> again they are still trying to figure out what exactly handed out here in this incident of violence here in oakland. live in oakland claudine wong. >>> investigators call it a hate crime. union city police are looking for the vandals who desecrated a church on ash wednesday. he is at the scene with the details, good morning eric. >> as you can imagine a lot of people are upset about this. in addition to painting over the graffiti, you see this

claudine wong. >> and i'm mike mibach. that land is where he dumped dozens of bodies. ktvuis live outside san quentin prison. >> reporter: mike shermantine is on death row here. search for more of his victims continues. the san joaquin county spokesman says 30 members from his office and from the state department of justice crime lab are in the town of linden right now. that is where yesterday they discovered part of a skull and human bones near an abandoned well 35 feet below the ground. on thursday and friday nearby calveras county remains belonging to a 25-year-old woman and 16-year-old girl were discover the. the town of linden is where shermantine and his childhood friend loren grew up. they were called the speed freak killers because of their methamphetamine use. they were convicted of seven murders between them but they are suspected of having anywhere from 15-20 victims who's bodies were never located. they are using a map that shermantine drew to show where those remains are. three sets of remains have been found. we asked the sheriffs specksman if they were expect
