falling off into the 40s north and west, 52 for manassas, culpeper 46 and fredericksburg already downed about this earlier. we're expecting a fairly cold night. all of this light blue, most of pennsylvania right now under a freeze warning. there's like six counties that aren't included in the freeze warning and that includes the counties down here in maryland, northern sections of virginia and west virginia, too. winchester will get cold tonight, down around freezing potentially, hagerstown the same. this does include frederick and carroll county. the frost advisory is closer into the metro. this is montgomery county under the frost advisory. so is howard county, loudoun county, northern sections of fauquier and culpeper county all under that frost advisory. not necessarily freezing, but we can have a little damaging frost by early tomorrow morning. one reason why we're expecting this, the sky's fairly clear tonight, these clouds back out to the west harder and slower to come in. you see some of the rain out there. this is why we're forecasting rain for the weekend, pretty good system

we have an update now on the police involved shooting in culpeper, virginia. a prosecutor wants a special grand jury to investigate the death of 54-year-old patricia cook. in february, a police officer responding to a report of a suspicious person approached cook in her car. state police claim the cop opened fire killing her after she drove off with the officer's arm trapped in her car window. but an eyewitness told 9news now that the officer's arm was never caught. that officer who killed cook has not been publicly identified. >>> and we're waiting to learn the name of the man struck and killed by a trash truck in northwest washington. it happened monday afternoon in an alley off columbia road. witnesses tell 9news now the man was walking behind the truck. he got pinned underneath when the driver put the truck in reverse. witnesses say they did hear the truck's backup warning sound go off. >>> just about 5:05. jessica is off today but we still have the numbers for you. major asian stocks closed mostly lower this morning and trading in europe is just getting u
