we turn to emma chandra for a check on the markets. emma: we are looking at a fading rally in the u.s.. we were in the green for the majors, we are now in the red. the dow jones down .1%, the same for the s&p hundred -- the s&p 500, and the nasdaq down .2%. if things stay as they are, we will see the s&p 500 break the five-day winning streak, which had been the longest for the s&p 500 in april. yesterday's optimism following the removal of the threat of caps on mexico tempered somewhat as investors realize the trade war with china is still very much on the president, china that he will continue to raise tariffs should xi jinping not meet with trump at the g20. industrials leading the way lower for the s&p 500. looking at tech over the course of six days. it is up 8% over that time. what is interesting is that tech tends to lead on the way up and also on the way down. look at that last panel. that is the s&p 500 tech index today. we have a nice chart. high beta stocks over the last month or so. we are seeing the blue line, this is the r

now let's get a check on the markets with emma chandra. emma: it would be nice to be in portugal. the u.s. market is risk on. the majors all above 1%. we are off the highs but still apply. s&p 500 up 1.4%. news president trump will meet with president xi at the g20 for an extended meeting. that has put rocket fuel under equities. cap leading the way -- tech leading the way given that the focus is on an easing of tensions between the u.s. and china. we are looking at the nasdaq up 1.7%. now that we are about halfway through june, i wanted to take a quick look at how we are performing. take a look at this chart. you can see the green bar at the end, we are on pace for the best june since 1955. way back when president eisenhower was in the white house and the s&p 500 less than 1% from its record high. that red bar is made, remember how bad things were in may, the worst may since 2010. take a look at the chip stocks. that potential trade meeting between president trump and president xi also lifting chips. at the highs, the philadelphia semiconductor index is up about 5%. performer,bes

emma chandra is here with more. emma: they actually hit a record high for the stock.eing very high-volume when it comes to lululemon, 1600 times the 20 day average when you look at trading. the key we are seeing for sales growth, we always talk about it as a key metric within sales growth, they put in their six above 10%,es growth which actually came in at 16% in the first quarter. we've got six quarters where it was above 10%. the guidance suggested they may see a bit of a sales slow down in the second half, but a lot of analysts said the company has been very conservative with their guidance for the rest of the year. we saw a glowing analyst reports, the likes of susquehanna saying the company going on all cylinders. the big drivers for lululemon are pushing into menswear and also digital and international. they really do have some room to run internationally. the majority of their sales come from the u.s. and canada, so they've got room for growth there. digital in the first quarter i 35% jump, so that is also a big area. guy: how does it stack up against the wider

emma: there's a lot of opportunity there.seen enormous sales growth by more than $1 billion last year. how do you intend to grow and keep up that pace? investors will be looking for that. sumit: a $70 billion market, expected to grow at 4% to 5%. there's not only a secular shift from online. we are stepping right into that mix and creating that share. are active customers spend more and more the longer they stay with us. our health care offerings are still mature. we have a lot more to do, a lot more customers to add, and really continue the value proposition. emma: it big portion of your sales is through customer renewals and automatic renewals. what portion do you see that growing to? sumit: we continue to grow that, first of all. it provides a pretty double revenue stream and has grown .rom the low 60's we will continue to add assortment, help our customers build baskets, look at adjacencies that come from new verticals we are locking, and that is how that number stays healthy. emma: a lot of companies are now moving to im

now we get a check on the markets with emma chandra. emma: looking at higher markets. the three majors all in the green and rising between .3% and .6%. the nasdaq leading. we are on course to break a two day losing streak. we are also seeing that investors seem to be more focused on the prospects of a rate cut after that surprise increase in u.s. jobless claims versus the concerns about what may be happening with those trade tensions between the u.s. and china. a big move is in oil. wti up 2%. it did rise 4.5% earlier in this session, bouncing off the five-month lows we hit yesterday. what we are seeing the oil prices reflected in energy stocks, take a look at this chart. this shows the oil service index. transocean and halliburton. a giant loss yesterday and now looking at a much bigger gain today. if we look at some of the other chevron,mes, exxon, phillips, all rising in that concern we might see a lack of supply. other moves in the retail sector. an area we do not see moves in the grade, not recently. take a look at restoration hardware, up around 20%. afteras up c
