most of the coast is fog free.that it's filling in so it will be cooler for -- i focused on areas around the coast and bay with this graphic here. 68 yesterday, 61 today, maybe even upper 50s, low 60s. oakland that tied a record high, 83 we'll go 75 today, and santa cruz in this typed of a pattern that really is tough so the upper 60s probably at best for them. inland the fog is not a factor but a little bit of a sea breeze might be. pollen index hasn't changed in the longest time. it's still the same today. olive junior and cider continue to be in medium to medium high category. 50s and 60s, 53 in san fransisco. west southwest, 10, yesterday was 0, calm. that's a little bit of a difference. west at sfo not a big deal but a little southerly breeze in the north is a sign of a cooler direction once you start to see that fog. so the system moving in right there will continue to plow into the pacific northwest. that knox the high down a little bit there. still hot in inland. fog on the coast means a big cool town there

bit of fog. i don't suspect you're going to see fog yet. as we head into tomorrow, the onset wind is going to keep us call out along the coast and through the san bruno. this is actually a really good scenario for your weekend especially if you like outdoor activity. saturday and sunday, real nice. sunday the warmest day on the weekend with temperatures into the upper 90s, toward antioch. the forecast for fog along the coast you will see it just lingers there like i did today. tomorrow morning, a little bit of fog. and during the day things start to warm up. temperatures in the valley are going to be in the 80s but you see for us this cooler temperature pattern with drops five to 10 degrees than what they were today. just know that as we head toward saturday and sunday the numbers come back up. there's been subtle changes. sunday will be noticeably warmer. sunday is going to be the day you think it's kind of hot. and the five day forecast with just a good looking weather pattern. we have some nic

fog to hayward. sunday a cooler day. just based on the fog foot print. gets back to the coast tomorrow afternoon but it'll be foggy. through the micro climate the low 60s. the mid60s in san francisco, 70's as you head over to hayward and fremont and then out into the big valley and closer to heat and -- closer to san francisco, closer to fresno and stockton and you will find mid80's. most of the temperatures tomorrow will cool off a few degrees, the heat was there the last two day, it'll still be in the central valley but we are cooling because of that system. it gets closers, picks up the fog. on sunday picks up more. a lot more and that is the cooling. sunday is the coolest day on the weekend because there will be more fog. the forecast for rain, as i said on monday check it out. into monday morning, shower showers, a frontalla system, not on sunday. sunday is fine. that's the low i showed you. it'll kick on through monday morning and into monday afternoon and we may get showers, we will see snow flurries into lake tahoe. that's on monday. forecast hig

fog across the bay.ling trend this weekend, sutd go changes today and tomorrow and more dramatic changes on monday when a late season cold front visits us, perhaps bringing us a few showers in the north bay and some windy conditions. here is close-up visible satellite picture. you'll see the fog on the peninsula, it's across the bay just around oakland into castro valley and hayward and fremont. it's also cloudy around hollister, watsonville and salinas this morning but pretty soon the fog will peel on back with high pressure still in control. we'll see a return to some mid and upper 80s. with 70s around the bay. 60s around the coast but summertime pattern holding on for one more day well east of the bay. you are feeling changes with breeze in concord. 30-degree spread today instead of 40 degree spread. here is why. high pressure is holding on barely. it's continuing to shift to the east today all because of this trough and associated cold front that is on the way. it will hold steady for another day. as

you see the fog, there should be fog. but what you can't see is the cool moist air that's moving all the way up into the valley. there is a lot of cool air filling in. just because there is not fog does not mean that it's not cooling. lot of mild temperatures just like today. almost like the same iso therm map. this shows you the temperature that are equal. iso means same. so as you go through tomorrow and the weekend, you're going to see the temperature heat up in antioch, concord. this is what we are concerned with. we're going to see numbers saturday bumming up near 100 degrees and we'll see a little bit of north-northeast winds and that will increase the potential for fire. we'll be watching that and, of course, we have some final before that all occurs. just as you plan, plan accordingly because it certainly won't be a good time to close down some of those parks if you have a father's day hike. check before you go this weekend. forecast for the five-day looks like. this much warmer for the week. i didn't stick 100 in

live storm tracker 2, there is the fog bank. at this time, we had mostly clear skies across most of the region with a few patches of fog out there. right now, there you go with that fog bank heading into the region, coupled with a pretty good onshore breeze, winds gusting at 22 miles per hour, that will help import some of the fog into the bay overnight. as far as temperatures from today, we started to cool off. you can see temperatures inland on the warm side in the 80s. san francisco topped out at 63 and san jose in the upper 70s at 77. this has been the case, fairly shallow marine layers can be the reference at the golden gate breeze. as the cooler air mass moves in, the marine layer expands and as a result we'll have cooler area in and around the bay, and also for parts of the interior. no more upper 80s in the forecast. right around the 80 degree mark, the high pressure weakened a little bit. this high pressure system will generate rain showers on the north coast. no rainfall for us, except some drizzle first thipg saturday
