you see the fog, there should be fog. but what you can't see is the cool moist air that's moving all the way up into the valley. there is a lot of cool air filling in. just because there is not fog does not mean that it's not cooling. lot of mild temperatures just like today. almost like the same iso therm map. this shows you the temperature that are equal. iso means same. so as you go through tomorrow and the weekend, you're going to see the temperature heat up in antioch, concord. this is what we are concerned with. we're going to see numbers saturday bumming up near 100 degrees and we'll see a little bit of north-northeast winds and that will increase the potential for fire. we'll be watching that and, of course, we have some final before that all occurs. just as you plan, plan accordingly because it certainly won't be a good time to close down some of those parks if you have a father's day hike. check before you go this weekend. forecast for the five-day looks like. this much warmer for the week. i didn't stick 100 in

live storm tracker 2, there is the fog bank. at this time, we had mostly clear skies across most of the region with a few patches of fog out there. right now, there you go with that fog bank heading into the region, coupled with a pretty good onshore breeze, winds gusting at 22 miles per hour, that will help import some of the fog into the bay overnight. as far as temperatures from today, we started to cool off. you can see temperatures inland on the warm side in the 80s. san francisco topped out at 63 and san jose in the upper 70s at 77. this has been the case, fairly shallow marine layers can be the reference at the golden gate breeze. as the cooler air mass moves in, the marine layer expands and as a result we'll have cooler area in and around the bay, and also for parts of the interior. no more upper 80s in the forecast. right around the 80 degree mark, the high pressure weakened a little bit. this high pressure system will generate rain showers on the north coast. no rainfall for us, except some drizzle first thipg saturday
