wouldn't be surprised to see 1 or 2 inches around rarnton, gainsville, manassas, those areas hit hard of southern maryland seeing good snow. you can see the back edge, most of loudoun county now clear. northern fauquier county clear. still seeing pretty good snow in through fairfax county down through portions of prince william county, stafford county and in through southern maryland. we're going to continue to see that. the heaviest rain right here in through stafford. stafford county and then right around prince william county right around quantico where some of the heaviest snow is and across the river in through charles county. you're all seeing moderate to heavy snow at this time. i also wouldn't be surprised to see some of the area roadways starting to slicken up a little bit. temperatures though have been above the freezing mark. for most of us. so that's helped with the roads. 34 degrees the current temperature out there with winds out of the south at 6 miles per hour. temperatures around the rest of the region, 34 in martinsburg. 32 in winchester. 32 in manassas. these could

heavy smog and the thick fog, the smoke and the fog, rather they actually shut down i75 south of gainsville. it was shut down complete li completely in the early morning hours. then they opened it up. you saw what happened. cars, tractor trailers, a motor home, a tour bus, colliding one after another after another. the wreckage was strewn for almost a mile. ten people were killed. the death toll could go higher, because of the 18 hospitalized, some are in very bad shape. when rescue crews arrived on scene, get this. they could only listen for the screams and moans because the visibility made it impossible to find the victims. one man said he saw two semitrucks stopped on the road so he stopped. he began talking to another driver who had stopped next to him, he rolled down his window and then here is what happened, listen. >> out of nowhere, boom somebody just comes crashing into him and literally his car goes under the semitruck. he is smashed into the semitruck. we didn't have enough time to react to get out the car, which i'm glad he didn't. as soon as he got hit another car came in at le
