gina: what are you watching in terms of the economic data? the market seems to be pricing some slowdown coming. the economic figures have been so strong. when do you think we'll start to see the economic figures turn over and what in particular are you watching for? >> essential suggesting it will move into recession. the question is how deep that recession will be. i suppose for us the key thing to keep looking at is credit markets, whether we start to see -- there have been a few bankruptcies. very leveraged companies. whether that spreads out more widely. the mortgage market. that slows down. do we get to where the housing market cracks? the banks are reserving more. that's what jpmorgan is doing. they are not at the stage of pointing to those serious issues. that would be the worry. i think at the moment, we should expecting a shallow recession. going to have to watch the data in the second half. tom: inflation not at 2% but rather 4%. which assets will be more vulnerable to a long-term inflation picture of around 4%? >> clearly the bond
