the fire has already destroyed at least 20 homes since it started last night in goleta. more than 2200 people are evacuated. the fire started in a home and then spread to nearby brush. officials say it has burned 50 to 80 acres so far. the cause is under investigation. governor jerry brown has declared a state of emergency for a fire that broke out yesterday morning near san diego. that one is called the west fire and it has burned 400 acres in alpine. 18 structures have been destroyed including a 130-year-old historic ranch. containment is up to 30%. >> i'm a little scared and a little worried, but we're holding up. it's just one of those things that's been said, you know, you pay the price for living here in beautiful california, you know? of course, wildfires are one of the down side of it. >> several roads in the area remain closed this morning. hundreds of residents have been evacuated. >> in siskiyou county evacuation orders remain in effect as crews battle the klamathon fire. there's also damage to two cemeteries. we've learned one person has died. the fire has bu
