we are live here from hoboken, new jersey i'm greg argos, now jessica, back to you. >> all right greg, we will check with you later. thanks very much. >>> now sadly our area is no stranger to deadly train accidents. we have had two recently that you probably remember very well. back on may 12th, of 2015, an amtrak northeast regional train traveling from washington d.c. to new york city derailed in port richmond. eight people were killed that night, more than 200 were hurt, and investigators later blamed the crash on the engineer's loss of situational awareness. now as a result, amtrak installed cameras in the engineer's cab and a computerized speed limiting system. then in april of this year, southbound amtrak 89 hit a backhoe on the tracks in chester, killing two track workers and tea railing that train. in this case 41 people were taken to the hospital. investigators determined that train was going slower then the maximum speed but preliminary ntsb report says the track should have been closed to traffic. amtrak does have positive train control technology we were talking about a lit

reporting here in folcroft, i'm greg argos, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> a stands off with police in west philadelphia ends with a suspect shot. officers responded to the 200 block every south millick street around 4:30 yesterday afternoon. a woman was shot in the arm, possibly in a domestic dispute. police say suspect barricaded himself inside a home, fired at police, who returned fire. suspect was shot, but by whom exactly this morning remains unclear. neighbor witnessed some of the chaos. >> i seen the aftermath. i seen him just lock them down. seen them take them out of the house. that was kinds of crazy on a stretcher. put him in a ambulance. >> and both the suspect and the woman are in the hospital. but it is believed their injuries are not life threatening. >> police in burlington county community are searching for a suspect in four robberies. three vick times provided descriptions to maple -- maple shade police. robberies started last month, police say the suspect worked his way into the house, then moved about quickly often asking for a drink. victims over the age every 80.
