two of the folks, you see doug emhoff, the vice president's husband is there, and there's gwen walz. tim walz, the vice presidential nominee's wife. and they're talking about reproductive freedom in north carolina, one of the key battleground states. kamala harris may be down, but the campaign definitely is not. and she may have endorsed him almost two months ago, but nikki haley says donald trump isn't asking for help on the campaign trail. nbc's dasha burns is following that for us. so what is nikki haley saying here? >> well, look, chris, those nikki haley voters, the people who voted for her in the primaries, some of them voting for her even after their states -- after she was out of the race in places like pennsylvania. i can tell you, they're going to be watching this debate very closely. a lot of those are those moderate republicans that are really torn about what to do. and nikki haley has endorsed the former president, not the most ringing endorsement. and take a listen to what she said over the weekend. >> you spoke at the convention. but are you going to campaign for him?
