i have lived there for 40 years. moved in as a young mother and i have a grandson that grew up right in there. it is a very small apartment with a beautiful view of the ocean. i enjoyed bringing my son up there and having the view. there has been no look about how it stays with the character and who it hits in terms of the views. that will block out a huge amount of use for me. i don't know any other people in the neighborhood. yes, housing is more important than views, i'm with you on that , but affordable housing is more important than market rate housing. this project manager or project sponsor made no outreach to work with the neighbors at all. it is another form of silencing the voice of the local people. it fast attracts these types of projects through and it is really -- to me, home san francisco is very close in terms of being able to mow over neighborhood character and people that live there and have lived there for years and made it a place that they want to -- >> thank you. your time is up. >> alrighty. >>

i live here at the recovery residence program on treasure island. very grateful to be where i am matt today. this program has prepared me for my future and bettering my life and the endless possibilities ahead of me. like many of my peers here, my journey has had its shares of ups and downs. i was selling drugs and eventually developed a problem with drug use which led me to a cycle of incarceration and drug use. i have had experience with other treatment programs, but none were the right fit for me with their strict rules and judgement i even completed treatment at walden house a few years back, but my heart wasn't in it since i was court ordered. eventually i relapsed. fast-forward to march 2019 where i realized my life was passing me by and i wasn't where i pictured myself to be at 28 years old. i decided to cut out the negative aspects of my life and make an honest and heartfelt decision and put the past behind me and move forward. move forward towards a cleaner and healthier lifestyle. i know i needed help so i turned to health right 360 for the

i live at 508 octavia street. i wanted to show my tree. so i don't know if you can really see but that's my living room. it's my safe haven and that's my tree well giant tree outside. and i heavily rely on this to chill out. i will tell you why. let's see here. my old home downtown was on a street with replacements to old growth trees. they mostly died, never groomed were peed on. then turned to garbage cans. in august 2018 i was attacked by a mentally ill homeless person while living, while leaving the san francisco at 7:00 a.m. on wednesday. in december 2018 i had to close my little shop on hyde street due to mentally ill and criminal people coming in and harassing my place of business. i really needed a safe haven. in february i completed six months of treatment for ptsd. in june, 2019 my partner relocated for a job and i was unable to join him. so i'm truly alone. this tree really protects me. it gives me privacy. it gives me quiet and chill time that i need to heal. so mine is a little more selfish. i really agree with the environment
