this inrah him seems to be -- ibrahim seems to be pretty long in the tooth. don't think he's a millennial. what i would like to underline is the youth generation are much more urban, much more literate, much more cosmopolitan than their elders were. and in egypt at least, certainly in tunisia and most of these countries, they're not that interested in political islam to begin with. there is a section of them that is, but they're a minority. and then the ones who are interested in radical forms of political islam are even tinier. so these groups that we're hearing about are making a splash now because they have tactical training and weapons. but it's not -- it's like they could get elected to office if there were an election. or that most people agree with them. so a poll was done recently in syria. 4% of respondents said they felt like the islamic state of iraq and syria represented their aspirations. it's not a very large number of people. and these groups, you know, they mainly grab desert-like areas with relatively low populations. and so i think they loom
