a murder case from iowa city court. the johnson county attorney says... .... the iowa attorney general's office plans to ask the high court to review the case of justin marshall. in 2013, a jury found marshall guilty of 1st degree murder in the death of an iowa city landlord. but last year, the iowa court of appeals overturned the conviction, saying jurors should not have heard testimony from a jail informant who was working for the prosecution. and the iowa supreme court upheld that decision. prosecutors say marshall shot and killed john 64, and lived in cordova, illinois. he owned the broadway condominium complex on broadway street in iowa city, which is now the wetherby condos. prosecutors say versypt was there checking on the property when marshall shot and killed him during a robbery attempt. coralville police are investigating whether 2 armed robberies at restaurants close to each other are related. police say the first robbery happened early wednesday morning at the wendy's on commerce drive -- north of i-80. in that case, two men masks showed a silver h

a murder case from iowa city could go to the u-s supreme court. the johnson county to ask the high court to review the case of justin marshall. in 2013, a jury found marshall guilty of first degree murder in the death of an iowa city landlord. but last year, the iowa court of appeals overturned the conviction, saying jurors should not have heard testimony from a jail informant who was working for the prosecution. and the iowa supreme court upheld that decision. prosecutors say marshall shot and killed john versypt in october 2009. versypt was 64, and lived in he owned the broadway condominium complex on broadway street in iowa city, which is now the wetherby condos. prosecutors say versypt was there checking on the property when marshall shot and killed him during a robbery attempt. coralville police are investigating whether two armed robberies at restaurants close to each other are related. police say the first robbery happened early wednesday morning at the wendy's on commerce drive. in that case, two men wearing gray sweatshirts and ski masks
