in iowa city, scott westerberg tv9 sports. it was a loss but the iowa men showed some improvement last night before losing their third straight to notre dame on the road 92-78.... but what a game for the two freshman cordell pemsl was 8 of 9 from the field and had 18 points and jordan bohannon hit 7 three pointers and scored a team high 23 points. school and the basket is the same distance did i expect to come in here and make seven three's no but i figured he would have some opportuities that is why i started him. i probably more proud of the fact that he had 7 assist and one turn. really our first true road game it helps having cordell on the floor we have has 3,4 years of experience together on the floor it's was just nice to get out their i think we took a step forward tonight. i went out and played the best i could step in the right direction. sot :32 oc: " in the right direction" the uni men are back home tonight after coming off back to back losses against a very good xavier team.. but it doesn't get any easier the panth
