ktvu's janine de la vega joins us live from mountain view high school to tell us about the dangers. >orning, brian. a friend of the teen says that the boy attends school here. the superintendent says that he is recovering. but the school district is in the process of putting together an educational forum to talk about this lsd-type drug that authorities suspect the teen was using. the boy was found on the stevens creek trail near central avenue on tuesday. he had suffered a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. police are waiting for toxicology results but suspect he overdosed on a drug called d.o.c. it has both hallucinogenic effects like lsd and speed effects like methamphetamine. a friend says he's a sophomore at mountain high school. authorities will not confirm that. some students say it reinforced their belief not to use drugs. >> i still don't want that do drugs. it makes my confusion even more strongly -- it makes me want to stand by my ground even more. >> reporter: the superintendent sent a letter to parents warning of the psychedelic drug's dangers and long-lasting effect
