jennifer brice is live outside one denver high school, today, supporters were rallying to get the word out. >> reporter: take a look at the sign outside west high school which shows the last time a bond was passed in 2012 and all the work done for the school thing it was completed. signs in and around the metro area asking again for voters to fund schools. the district says on average they believe it will cost homeowners about $10 per month. outside west high school in denver, students, parents, and staff asked voters to give dps schools more money. it would have to be passed by voters through a male levy and bond. jess carol is a student. >> students need a voice in the selection, we are the ones who are forced to learn in classr w >> reporter: 3a will ask for $57,000, 3b last for $572 million. the school board says based on the average price of a home in denver, $330,000, the bond would increase property taxes by $10 per month. so, where will the money go? >> dollars will go directly to school environments. and what that allows is school children. >> reporter: that money will improve

jennifer brice joins us live from the arapahoe county courthouse. and you heard new details about this case. >> reporter: that's right. detectives testified though there were some issues in the marriage between the suspect and his wife. they could not find a clear motive a shooting happened. the suspect was channelling and dancing at times when left alone. he tried numerous times to hug officers and told them he loved them. at the time of the arrest, lyons allegedly asked an officer, are statements are bizarre. his wife told police that her husband just snapped on the day of the shooting, that he came at her and started shooting, and that is when ms. lyons went outside and encounter herd two neighbors who tried to help. dr. atkinson was shot in the head and died. and liz lyons also testified that her husband had been acting weird for s times. she even suggested that he go to the hospital. >>> a pastor is being extradited to colorado on child porn charges. he was arrested in portland, oregon, where he works as an executive for the united methodist ch
