. >> i'm jim donovan, live to bryn mawr, delaware county where "eyewitness news" reporter jim holding is gathering some information for us, good afternoon, joe. >> jim, rahel, good afternoon. what we've learn so far according to the archdioces of philadelphia, school officials here at saint coleman john newman entered the building way early this morning and noticed that something wasn't right with, and from that, they realized there was a smell of natural gas, some windows blown out into the rear of the school building. blown out window at saint coleman john newman parish school, that's the damage left behind after explosion happened in the boiler room according to a spokesman for the archdioces of philadelphia. from chopper three, you can see firefighters moving through the first floor of the catholic grade school in bryn mawr. investigators haven't determined what caused the explosion. we're told it happened hours before the school day was set to begin. the sixth graders were concerned to hear the reason behind their sudden day off from school. >> little scary to hear, because usual

good afternoon i'm jim donovan. >> i'm rahel solomon. yewitness news" reporter joe hold den on temple's campus. he joins us live from north philadelphia with more on the incident. joe, what do you know? >> reporter: rahel, jim g afternoon. at this point, police have determined that that suspicious device a belt with wires contained no trace of explosives. i spoke to two maintenance workers who actually made the discovery. they said from the appearance of that heavy duty belt with wires protruding from it they were absolutely compelled to call police. that call went out to 911 just after 9:00 o'clock this morning. now as a result, temple school of engineering building at 12th and norris was evacuated, and about a dozen classes were halted. police shut down the area while they investigated to determine exactly what they were dealing with. the bomb squad did detonate that belt and ran tests that determined no trace of explosi explosives. >> it's a thick, very thick belt of commercial grade possibly military style had some wires coming out of

good afternoon everyone, i'm jim donovan. >> heim rahel solomon. cleve bryan is live in the northern part of ocean city where the flooding is still making travel tricky. cleve, good afternoon. >> reporter: good afternoon, jim and rahel. you're right. things are getting back to normal but getting back to normal takes little while. even though it's low tide now, you can see there's still flooding here at third and west avenue in ocean city. about 6-inch to a foot of water still on third street here. the wind advisory is over the wind has died down it takes will for all this to drain back into the bay because the bay has got to drain out to the ocean, and it's all delayed on the tides. let's take look at the video from earlier when there was a high tide here in ocean city. many of the roads impassible because of that street flooding, and we talked to the ocean city office of emergency management. they said that they didn't have any major safety issues although they did have to rescue several people from their homes at certain points for medical reasons
