i'm jo ling kent in new york. news of a second mass shooting within 24 hours here in the united states. this time it is dayton, ohio according to police. at least nine people have been killed. the gunman has also been killed. we're talking about 16 injured so far. local hospitals in the area receiving the injured. no officers were injured in this shooting. and multiple police officers took down one suspect who police say was using a long gun. this happened in the oregon district in downtown dayton, ohio. a very popular area for going out on a saturday night. live music. the entire shooting took place outside according to police. they say that it was a very short timeline of violence. we've just been speaking with one of the witnesses who said he was outside and fled the scene. several of his friends were affected in what he called a tragic and horrific accident. this comes less than 24 hours after the el paso walmart shooting in which 20 people were killed. 26 people injured by a 21-year-old suspect. anthony reyno
