trump seems to think kanye west speaks for black americans. kanye speaks for kanye. what do you think, eugene that both of these men got out of this meeting? >> they both were trending on twitter yesterday, which i think is very important to both of them. we know that the president likes to be in front of people and likes attention and no network have been covering the rallies the way they have in the past, and kanye west is constantly trying to promote his work, and he has a project coming out very soon. i think what midterm voters are focused on most are issues related to health care, issues related to the economy, and if kanye was supposed to be there to give the president an idea of where black americans stand on these issues and what he could do differently to improve his standing with them, he didn't do that, and he simply drew attention to just how scattered his messaging was and how disconnected he is from the progressive base by dismissing very real issues like racism that many black voters care about deeply and believe that donald trump himself stoked. >> e
